Exchange to Germany

On September 21 I came to Germany, to Frankfurt. In the airport we were met by Ferdinand with his students. After that we traveled to Rosbach. I am staying with Katrin. I became friends with all her family. They gave me my own room.

Katrin’s parents are cool and beautiful people. Also Katrin has 4 brothers and a sister. They are very nice.

On a first day I saw Katrin’s village and the village of her grandparents. This villages are very big and beautiful. We walked for a long time.

On September 22 I wake up at 5:45. For me it was not very easy. In Russia I wake up at 7 o’clock. Breakfast was very good : I ate porridge and bread. After that we drove to the school in a car.

In school it was very interesting: After first lesson we were taken to the tour around school and classrooms. We saw all school and the monastery. The monastery is very big. Father Jakob carried the excursion. There I took many photos. We saw a big library with many old books. The oldest book was written in 1330, and we saw it. It was a very interesting excursion, and I liked it because I learnt a lot of many new and interesting. After school we returned home by bus. In Sankt-Petersburg I saw the buses for students only sometimes, but here saw many school buses.

Our school and schools in Germany are different. Schools in Germany are more modern than ours. But our school is as good as the german one.

At 16.00 we visited the bowling together. I like bowling and I was in team with Katrin and her friends. Game was very good and cool. I did a strike. We rested very well. We returned home at 20.00 .

On September 23 we walked to town Hachenburg. On the way we talked a lot about our new friends. We talked about our experiences. When we came to the central square, we started to new photos. After that we went to excursion. We visited 2 churches, where I took many photos, too. Also we went to museum, where we learnt a bit about the culture of Germany. There was a small souvenirs' shop, where I bought some souvenirs.

After this excursion we with Katrin went to A farm. There were 2 horses Maya and Candy and many cows. Maya is 22 years, Candy - 17. I rode a horse.

On September 24 we visited Koblenz and Mozel. They are very interesting towns because there are many castles, monuments, museums. We were in a castle called Marksburg, there are many old things there. There we took many photos of the castle.

Also we went by boat along Rhein. After this traveling I with my friends rode in the cableway. We saw the panorama of Mosel and Koblenz : I photographed thye german corner, plan square, St.-Castor's Church, Equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I and many others. Many beautiful photos were done by me.

On September 25 we spent time in the school. On the morning there was sports tournament. We played basketball. After that we went to physics. It was a very interesting lesson. We did the experiments. I learnt a lot of new and interesting.

Also we took informatics. Everybody had to write the review, and I did it. It was very cool. I described my experiences.

After school I with Katrin walked along a lake. It is a very good place for the rest - good nature, fresh air. I liked it.

On September 26 we with all class we visited Koln. It is a great and cool city. At first I with my friends walked to the zoo. It is a very big park, where there are many other animals: elephants, monkeys, lions, tigers, flamingoes, hippos, crocodiles. Also there is an aquarium, where there are many kinds of fish and insects. Of course, I took many photos.

Our group drove to Cathedral of Koln. It is a very big church. We went up to the observation deck, where I could see all the city. I was inside of the cathedral. It is very beautiful. Many pictures, statues. After that I with my friends went shopping and visited cafe, where tried german deserts. They were tasty.

On Saturday we with Katrin and Alexandra spend a time in Koblenz. We walked to the town, went shopping. Koblenz is very beautiful and cool town. Our group visited to Equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I. It is very big and great monument.

I with my friends walked along a Rhein. Were took many photos. We laught, were very fun, visited to cafe, where ate ice cream. Also I went to clothe's shop and bought a new T-shirt. My friend Alexandra bought many souvenirs for her family. Me too : I bought presents for my family and my friends.

We returned home at 7 o'clock.

On Sunday I spend a time home, in Rosbach. I with Katrin walked in forest and told about our schools. I talked with her a long time. After that we came back and played with her sister in the very interesting game.

At 16 o'clock we with her friends drove to cafe. We spend a time very well.

At 7 o'clock we returned home. Day was very good.

On Sunday we were in school. In infornatics we wrote our projects. When we returned home, we ate apple cake. It was cooked by Katrin's mum. Was very tasty. After that I walked to village with Katrin and returned at 7 o'clock.

On Tuesday we drove to Limburg. It is old, but beautiful town, where especially I liked town's streets. We walked to all town, took photos, bought souvenirs for friends. After that we visited a big church, where was very interesting excursion.

We returned to Marienstatt at 2 o'clock, after we came back home. I was tired, because I slept. In evening, after dinner I with Katrin played in Genial. It is very good game. We played a long time. It was 31 of September.

On October 1 we visited to motomuseum. There are many old and modern motobikes. I photographed all motorbikes. After that we went to mine. There was very cool, but dark and cold. Was very interesting excursion.

We returned to Marienstatt and went to lunch. Was very tasty. We ate and went to sport lesson. After sport we attended mathematics. We came back home at 15 o'clock and played with Katrin Genial.

The most memorable I think was visiting Koln. It was very interesting.

I didn´t regret, that I traveled with exchange to Germany. It was a good idea. I got lucky with Katrin and her family. I hope that I will visit Germany again.

Marienstatt bleibt bunt
